The conventional tail swing design provides the strength and leverage needed for general construction and excavating applications. PRECISE PERFORMANCE

A fine swing function minimizes the shaking of a lifted object, giving you greater control and accuracy. An optional intelligent floating boom mode offers two settings that allow the boom to move freely with the ground contours — including a full float setting and hydraulic breaker setting.

Auto downshift for the travel function is designed to increase drawbar pull when needed, improving machine responsiveness and controllability. And the optional straight travel mode is an ideal solution for trenching operations and transportation. Choose from standard, long or super-long reach excavator arm configurations.

The optional 360-degree all-around view monitoring (AVM) displays a full view of the machine’s surroundings, for better jobsite awareness in every direction. For maximum visibility, standard features include a rearview camera and eight high-illumination LED lights. Upgrade to 12 LED lights as an option.

The rugged DX225LC-7 features a robust working group with reinforced steel-casted push link, incorporating a 5-ton lifting eye. The X-Chassis undercarriage offers improved durability and stability. An innovative D-channel upper structure frame design adds strength to protect vital components.

You’ll have convenient ground-level access to all filters and easy access to regular inspection points. Access panels are easy to find and open from the top, bottom and sides of the excavator. A large engine cover provides plenty of room to reach the top side of the engine, while a hinged belly pan allows access from the bottom.
