POWERFUL DIGGING AND FAST CYCLE TIMES

The DX490LC-7 crawler excavator, available in standard arm or long arm configurations, delivers the powerful digging forces required for today’s work, plus it offers improved lifting capabilities and fast cycle times to help you move more materials in less time. Need to break into tougher materials? The one-touch power boost button momentarily increases hydraulic power when needed. An optional intelligent floating boom mode improves cycle times and is ideal for finishing work, allowing the boom to move freely with the contours of the ground.

Dig into high-impact materials with confidence thanks to the reinforced arm and boom, and heavy-duty wear plates that bolt on at the end of the machine for maximum durability. The removable counterweight can be hydraulically lowered to its own trailer for easy transport to the jobsite.

COMFORTABLE WORK ON LONG DAYS

Enhanced comfort features were designed for operators working long days. The DEVELON Smart Touch screen displays all important settings from an easy-to-read screen. The optional deluxe air-suspension seat resists stains and provides heating and cooling for more comfort in any season. An optional 360-degree all-around view monitoring (AVM) camera system provides operators with a full view of the machine’s surroundings for greater confidence when working in high-traffic areas. Seven powerful LED lights are standard for a clear view of the attachment and the jobsite.

SAVE FUEL WITHOUT SACRIFICING PRODUCTIVITY

The DX490LC-7 features a DEVELON diesel engine that is optimized to provide more power output with reduced fuel consumption. For additional fuel savings, an auto idle feature idles the excavator’s engine automatically when machine functions are not used for a few seconds. The auto shutdown feature also saves fuel while helping to lower warranty hours. Smart Power Control (SPC) maximizes machine efficiency without sacrificing productivity. Four selectable power modes allow you to manage the balance of fuel consumption and machine power based on working conditions. Choose from Power+, Power, Standard and Economy modes.

CONVENIENT MACHINE SERVICEABILITY

DEVELON Fleet Management is standard on the DX490LC-7. You can remotely monitor the machine’s location, health and productivity. The DX490LC-7 offers ground-level access to all filters and convenient access to regular inspection points. Access panels open from the top, bottom and sides of the machine. Centralized grease banks on the arm and base of the boom make daily maintenance easier. When refueling, an optional filler pump helps you quickly get back to work.
