DIGGING POWER AND REDUCED TAIL SWING DESIGN

The DX235LCR-7 crawler excavator offers a reduced tail swing counterweight design and a tighter front minimum swing radius for working confidently in congested or confined roadway or transfer station jobsites. This standard arm configuration machine is easy to maneuver and offers superior hydraulics for enhanced performance when digging, loading trucks and more. The one-touch power boost momentarily amplifies hydraulic power for difficult digging conditions that slow other machines down.

Choose from four power modes to balance fuel consumption with machine power based on the work conditions. The fine swing function minimizes the shaking of a lifted object at the end of a swing movement. An optional dozer blade is available to maximize productivity.

FUEL EFFICIENCY TECHNOLOGIES ARE STANDARD

DEVELON -7 Series crawler excavators offer exclusive technologies and options to help boost fuel efficiency and lower fuel expenses. The fuel-efficient Tier 4-compliant DEVELON diesel engine includes an auto shutdown feature that saves fuel while helping to lower warranty hours, and an auto idle feature that idles the engine automatically when machine functions aren’t used. The exclusive Smart Power Control (SPC) improves efficiency by monitoring two machine systems to reduce unnecessary engine load.

INTUITIVE CONTROLS AND 360-DEGREE VISIBILITY

The updated cab environment on the DX235CLR-7 crawler excavator includes more comfort features, smart controls and improved visibility to help you attract and keep top operators. Cab comforts include low noise and vibration levels and automotive-style heating and cooling — with an optional heated/cooled seat. Ergonomically designed joystick controls are easy to use, and a multilingual Smart Touch display puts all important information on one screen. A rearview camera is standard; a 360-degree all-around view monitoring (AVM) system can be added. Seven LED lights are standard.

BUILT TO LAST WITH CONVENIENT SERVICEABILITY

The -7 Series crawler excavators include a robust working group, heavy-duty arm and boom, and durable wear plates that bolt on at the end of the machine arm to maximize reliability. The enhanced undercarriage structure is designed for the most punishing work environments. An upgraded, cast push link with reinforced lifting eye delivers a five-metric-ton lifting capacity. When it’s time for maintenance, all regular inspection points are ground-level accessible. DEVELON Fleet Management, a standard feature, helps you keep track of your machine’s location and maintenance needs using a mobile app and website.
