POWER AND CONTROL

The DX255LC-7 crawler excavator puts more power in your hands to complete the most challenging projects — offering powerful arm and bucket forces, and improved lifting capacity and stability. You can dig, load trucks and move materials with confidence.

Choose from four selectable power modes to manage the balance of fuel consumption and machine power based on working conditions. Select the fine swing function for more control when lifting and placing objects. Or push the one-touch power boost button to momentarily increase hydraulic power — ideal for breaking through hard ground. Standard or long-arm configurations are available.

COMFORT

Focus on the challenges in front of you. Updated cab features include an optional air-suspension seat that delivers heating and cooling to provide comfort in every season. The DEVELON Smart Touch display and ergonomically designed joystick controls make it intuitive and easy to control the machine and its attachments. The unique jog shuttle switch gives you easy, precise control over all machine functions.

Visibility is enhanced through a rearview camera, high-illumination LED lights and excellent sightlines through the front and side windows — all standard features. A sideview camera is available as an option.

Using the DEVELON Fleet Management, you can monitor your equipment and check on machine status from a user-friendly mobile app and website.

A variety of fuel efficiency technologies optimize machine performance while reducing fuel consumption, including the exclusive D-ECOPOWER system, Smart Power Control (SPC) and Electronic Power Optimizing System (EPOS). The dependable DEVELON diesel engine delivers more power output with reduced fuel consumption.

Enjoy reduced maintenance costs and extended machine life with the durable X-Chassis undercarriage, strengthened boom and arm assembly, and extended greasing intervals. A new Y-shaped seal at the end of the excavator arm provides better sealing to the bucket connection, and improved hydraulic line routing also helps protect your investment.

To make maintenance convenient, access panels are easy to find and open from the top, bottom and sides of the excavator. The centralized boom and arm grease points are grouped for easy maintenance.
