Next-generation -7 Series mini excavators have been redesigned to address your most challenging jobsite hurdles — including demanding digging and lifting tasks in cramped, congested worksites. They’re everything you need to take it all on. DEVELON Fleet Management is standard on every -7 Series model, and a new, high performing air conditioning system is standard on enclosed cab models for all-day operator comfort. These versatile, all-DEVELON machines are hydraulic quick-coupler-ready, feature an efficient DEVELON diesel engine, and offer impressive digging and lifting capabilities supported by more auxiliary hydraulic flow. Common DEVELON controls deliver operational consistency across your DEVELON fleet.

FOR DEMANDING DIGGING AND LIFTING

The 48.8-hp DX55R-7 compact excavator offers impressive digging and lifting capabilities ideal for working on congested construction sites. The reduced tail swing design extends just a few inches beyond the width of the excavator’s tracks, minimizing the chances of hitting objects or buildings when rotating the machine.

The increased counterweight enables offset digging without the need to reposition. The width-protected swing frame allows you to get closer to your work when operating against a structure or obstacle. Other features include a backfill blade, a rubber track undercarriage and a steel track undercarriage option.

TAKE ON MORE JOBS WITH ONE MACHINE

A variety of standard features enable immediate multi-attachment functionality and quick attachment changes. The DX55R-7 features a thumb-ready arm and hydraulic quick-coupler-ready design. No additional accessories are needed to install a compatible quick coupler — which significantly reduces the time it takes to switch attachments including augers, hydraulic breakers and grapples.

Auxiliary hydraulic lines offer quick hose connections to hydraulic attachments. Adjustable flow rates help optimize the response of hydraulic attachments.

When running multi-function attachments, optional secondary hydraulics can be added.

POWERFUL TELEMATICS AND EASY MAINTENANCE

DEVELON -7 Series mini excavators are engineered to keep you on the job — featuring easy access to regular maintenance points and a powerful telematics system included as a standard feature on every machine. DEVELON Fleet Management monitors the health, location and productivity of your DX55R-7 using a mobile app and website. The system includes an anti-theft feature, which allows you to remotely review, manage and keep track of your machines for added peace of mind. The swing-open tailgate and side-access hood provide easy access to machine service points, and cooling cores can be separated for easy radiator cleaning.

ALL-AROUND COMFORT, CONTROL AND VISIBILITY

A standard enclosed cab, common DEVELON controls and enhanced visibility help take operator comfort to new levels.

The DX55R-7 provides high-capacity air conditioning system and a deluxe adjustable seat that minimizes heat transfer and vibration from the engine. The controls, buttons and general operations of the DX55R-7 are similar to those of our large excavators. A thumb switch on the right joystick controls auxiliary hydraulic functions, making fine adjustments effortless. Choose the control pattern you prefer: ISO or BHL. High-illumination LED lamps, a framed, full glass door and optional rearview camera enhance your work view.
